Your holiday at Vatulé includes cook service at breakfast, chef service at dinner, and access to the St. Regis Punta Mita resort. But the villa is well appointed enough to feel like your own private resort, with a beautiful heated infinity pool, hot tub, a shaded living and dining area next to the pool, an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue, and even a large playing field for soccer or bocce. A sound system and wet bar make it easy to entertain, and a home theater is the perfect place to relax after a day spent playing in the water.
The villa’s thatched roof is a nod to traditional Mexican architecture, but inside, it’s all contemporary luxury. A vaulted ceiling and oversized fashion photograph overlook an open-plan great room with crisp white sofas atop a natural-fiber rug and a formal dining area that can seat twenty. Mirrored doors slide open to reveal the bistro-inspired, fully equipped kitchen, which has lively tile floors and a breathtaking marble backsplash.
The main house at Vatulé has six bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, five of which are honeymoon-worthy primary suites with king beds and ocean views and one of which is a children’s room with six bunk beds, its own media room and a terrace.
Take the included adults’ and children’s bikes or the provided golf cart to the three beach clubs, two golf courses, fitness center and tennis club at nearby resorts. For low-key shopping and dining, make the 10-minute golf-cart trip into the town of Punta Mita.
