TAU Residences is the newest community on the Punta Mita peninsula, sitting at the tip of the peninsula where the Bahia golf course meets the water. Every home here is a three-bedroom condo, newly built, and it suits couples and small families who want a modern, well-serviced base close to both the fairways and the beach. Where is TAU Residences?

TAU sits at the tip of the peninsula, on the Bahia golf course, with several homes looking out over the fairways to the Bay of Banderas and, at night, the lights of Puerto Vallarta across the water. Being the newest-built community, its residences tend to have the most current finishes on the peninsula. It is a short golf-cart ride to Punta Mita’s beach clubs and both golf courses.

The condos

All seven of our TAU Residences homes are three-bedroom condos, with guest capacity running from six up to ten depending on the layout. Six sit a short walk from the beach with golf and bay views; one, Tau Condo 612, is directly oceanfront with every bedroom en suite. One of the newest, Tau Condo 112, is a first-floor unit laid out entirely on one level, with a private heated infinity pool running the length of its terrace and no stairs between the bedrooms and the pool. Several of the newer units include a golf cart, a housekeeper who cooks and cleans, and concierge service — what’s included varies by residence, and we confirm the specifics before you book.

Who it is best for

TAU works well for couples and smaller families who want Punta Mita’s golf and beach-club access in a lower-maintenance condo rather than a full estate, and for anyone drawn to newer construction and clean, current interiors.
