Bolongo Punta de Mita: Oceanfront Condo Guide

Bolongo is a gated, contemporary oceanfront community in Punta de Mita, the coastal town just outside the Punta Mita resort gates. It has condos and villas, most facing the Pacific, with its own pools and beach club. This guide covers the community and the condos we rent there.

Where is it?

Bolongo is on the north shore of Banderas Bay in Punta de Mita, close to the village restaurants, surf shops and marina, and a short drive from the Punta Mita resort gates. The buildings are low-rise and modern, arranged around gardens and pools with the beach at the front.

The homes

Our Bolongo condos run three to five bedrooms and sleep nine to twelve guests, from a three-bedroom unit with views to the Marietas Islands to a two-level five-bedroom condo with a garden. Several list rooftop pools, community pools and direct beach access. Bolongo also has a few larger private villas.

Who it is best for

Bolongo suits couples, families and small groups who put the beach and modern design first and do not need the Punta Mita resort golf and beach clubs. It is also a good choice if you want to walk to restaurants in Punta de Mita.

Beach and resort access

Bolongo is outside the Punta Mita resort, so stays here do not include Punta Mita resort membership, golf or the resort beach clubs. Guests use the community pools and beach instead. Each listing states its position and amenities, and we confirm them before you book.

No. Stays in Bolongo do not include Punta Mita resort membership. Guests use Bolongo’s own pools and beach.
